About

Software for small colleges, built with the care financial records get.

Yamoreh is a software company. We make one system for the records, classes and website of a Bible college, a seminary or a small private college.

Why Yamoreh exists

Small colleges often run on four systems: one for records, one for classes, a website builder and an email tool, each with its own login and its own copy of the student. The software built for bigger schools is priced per student and sold on enterprise contracts.

Yamoreh is one system a small school can afford, at one flat price. It began with a single Bible college, Hupomone Bible College, which runs on it today.

Where our engineering comes from

Yamoreh's engineering comes from fintech: years of building systems that held people's financial data, where a mistake with someone's records is never small. The habits that follow from that (check who can see what, write down every access, assume the record matters to someone) are how Yamoreh is built.

It also comes from building every system a growing company ran on, which is what a small college needs from its software: one partner for all of it.

How we treat student records

A student record deserves the care a bank account gets. These are things Yamoreh does today, not promises; Security has the detail.

  • Two-factor sign-in for every account

Students, faculty and staff alike. A password alone never opens a record.

  • A record of every look

Every time someone opens sensitive information, Yamoreh notes who and when, and the school can see it.

  • Each role sees only its part

Faculty see their own students, students see their own record, and one school can never see another's.

  • The school owns its data

Every record can be exported at any time, and a school that leaves takes everything with it.

The name

Yamoreh joins Benyamin and moreh, the Hebrew word for teacher.
