1Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across this website, the sign-in pages and the apps schools use: the SIS, the LMS and Insights.
2What we do today
- Text meets WCAG AA contrast (at least 4.5 to 1) in the light theme; we're finishing the same pass on the dark theme.
- Every page works on a phone, with tap targets sized for fingers, and on a computer.
- Animation is turned off for anyone whose device asks for reduced motion.
- Light and dark themes, following the device's setting or chosen by hand.
- Pages use real headings, labels and landmarks so screen readers can move through them.
- We test pages with automated accessibility checks (axe) against WCAG 2 AA.
3What we haven't done yet
Yamoreh has not yet had an independent accessibility audit, and automated testing can't catch everything. We're working toward a full manual review of the apps with a screen reader and keyboard only, and will publish an Accessibility Conformance Report (VPAT) when it's done. Schools can ask us for its status at any time.
Documents a school or instructor uploads, such as scanned readings or PDFs, are only as accessible as the files themselves.
4Tell us when something doesn't work
If any part of Yamoreh is hard to use with your device, browser or assistive technology, write to us through the contact page or ask your school to pass it on. Tell us the page and what happened. We reply within two business days and treat accessibility problems as bugs to fix, not requests to weigh.
