Senior full-stack engineer

Yamoreh is one system for a small college: student records, admissions, registration, classes, grades, transcripts and the school's public website. You'll own features end to end, talk with the registrars and instructors who use them, and see your work reach a school within the term it asked.

• Design and build features across the student information system, the learning platform and the admin tools.
• Write the database changes, the server code and the interface for each one, with tests for anything that decides something.
• Keep student records safe: who can see what, and a written trail of every access.
• Make pages fast on an old laptop and a phone on a slow connection.

• Five or more years building web applications in production.
• Strong React and JavaScript, and comfort with SQL and Postgres.
• Care for plain, readable code and plain words on screen.
• Experience with regulated or sensitive data (finance, health, education) is a plus.
